By booking a stay at Villa Sessana, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the rental of Villa Sessana and any related interactions between you, the guest, and Villa Sessana GbR.

 

2. Rental Services

 

Villa Sessana is rented exclusively as a holiday accommodation. Any additional recommendations or introductions to service providers (e.g., catering, private chefs, transportation) are provided as a courtesy. Villa Sessana GbR does not act as an agent for these services and assumes no responsibility or liability for them.

 

3. Booking and Payment

 

3.1 Booking Process

• Guests may book Villa Sessana via email or our website. A booking is confirmed once the guest receives a written confirmation from Villa Sessana GbR.

• An upfront deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is required within 5 days of booking confirmation to secure your reservation.

• This deposit is non-refundable.

 

3.2 Final Payment

• The remaining balance (70%) must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date.

• If the final payment is not received by this deadline, Villa Sessana GbR reserves the right to cancel the booking without refunding the deposit.

 

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

4.1 Guest Cancellations

• The deposit is non-refundable.

• If the guest cancels fewer than 6 weeks before the arrival date, the booking rate will be charged in full.

 

4.2 Owner Cancellations

In the rare event that Villa Sessana GbR must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the guest will receive a full refund of all payments made.

 

5. Security Deposit

 

A cautionary deposit of €500 is required and will be collected prior to check-in. This deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of check-out, provided no damage or violations of the house rules have occurred.

 

6. House Rules

 

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests, the following rules apply:

• Maximum Occupancy: 6 adults and 2 children under the age of 4.

• No Parties: Parties or events are strictly prohibited.

• No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.

• No Pets: Pets are not allowed.

• Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay and agree to notify the owner immediately if any damage occurs.

 

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and/or additional charges.

 

7. Liability and Disclaimer

• Villa Sessana GbR is not liable for any personal injuries, accidents, or losses during the guest’s stay. Guests are encouraged to arrange their own travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

• Guests acknowledge that any recommendations made by Villa Sessana GbR (e.g., service providers, activities) are optional and undertaken at their own risk.

 

8. Privacy Policy

 

Villa Sessana GbR collects and processes personal data for the purpose of managing bookings, complying with local laws, and improving guest experiences. Data collected includes:

• Name, contact details, and payment information

• Booking preferences and any specific requests

This data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary (e.g., payment processing or compliance with legal requirements).

9. Governing Law

 

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Germany and Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of German or Italian courts, depending on the nature of the dispute.
